What is Mental Health First Aid?

Mental Health First Aid training is an accredited, nationally recognised first aid training for mental health responsiveness.

The training covers the most appropriate and evidence-based approaches to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, psychosis, and the related crises that can arise in daily life.

The accreditation is valid for 3 years, and the content is relevant in the workplace, home, and community.

Here at Headland MHM, we believe in empowering individuals and communities. MHFA is a method of connection that provides MHFAers with agency and confidence in times of mental health crisis.
